Kicking Off.

Ah the inevitable packing of the car before the big trip... and with it comes the grunts and sighs of heavy lifting and shopping lists for half an hour or so before we hit the road. Yep, half an hour. That's it. He packs the boards and the beer, she packs the bags and food before we depart our home. Our base in 2515. 

We've been travelling together - mostly short trips- for a year, and how it has progressed! Still packing the same things - but travelling a little further, each time to a new place. 

Stop #1 and a firm local favourite of ours: Booderee National Park, NSW

Booderee National Park, Jervis Bay NSW.

Three or so hours south of Sydney (with some ripper locations in-between) this place is our go-to for a weekend away. The water is clear and calm, the sand is squeaky clean and the beautiful National Park is about 20 steps away.

Book ahead for this one if you want to nab a campsite though - it gets busy, particularly in those peak summer/school holiday seasons.
